Zen Buddhist meditation retreat

Prajna Zendo is offering a three-day sesshin (Zen Buddhist meditation retreat) from the evening of Thursday, October 16, through noon on Sunday, October 19. The sesshin includes sitting and walking meditation, Big Mind practice, and individual interviews with Prajna Zendo’s teachers, Sydney Musai Walter, Roshi and David Daishin Brighton, Sensei. THE RUMI CONCERT – A WIDE LISTENING SKY

The Rumi Concert is an uplifting event where you can experience the stirring poetry of the 13th-century mystic, Rumi, and the rich weaving of story, music and dance that illuminate Rumi’s timeless message of love and hope. 10th Annual Celebration of the Book

Enjoy a glorious exhibit of handmade artists’ books from noon to 4 pm Friday, October 24, and 10 am to 4 pm Saturday, October 25. Saturday’s workshops include poetry/bookmaking for kids in grades 5-8 from 10 to noon; a family puppet show by Wise Fool at 1 pm; and a self-publishing workshop from 2 to 3 pm.
