Group meditation for the 21st century
Do you want to help the world and, at the same time, build a stronger connection with your own spiritual nature? Transmission Meditation is the simplest way to do both and offers a unique opportunity to serve humanity within a group setting right where you are. Compassion and Choices Meeting
 Compassion and Choices is holding a free public meeting Sunday, June 8, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Unitarian Church (corner of Barcelona and Galisteo). Psychiatrist Dr. Stanley Terman will speak on "Natural Dying: Can You Guarantee Others Will Honor Your Wishes?" Dr. Terman is the author of The Best Way to Say Goodbye: A Legal Peaceful Choice at the End of Life, a self-help manual for peaceful transitions, and Lethal Choice, a medical thriller dealing with ethical issues surrounding physician-assisted dying. Piano Concert to Benefit UUCSF's Music Program
Pianists Edwin Light and Madeline Williamson will perform four-hands works of Mozart, Schubert, Fauré and Barber on Saturday, June 7, at the Unitarian Church at 2:00 p.m. A suggested donation of $10 per adult (children are free) will help support the music program at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Santa Fe. The program consists of Mozart's Sonata in B-flat, Souvenirs by Samuel Barber, Schubert's Fantasie in F Minor, and Fauré's Dolly Suite. meditation retreat
On June 14, Prajna Zendo will hold a one-day meditation retreat (zaenkai) from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It includes sitting and walking meditation, a dharma talk and the opportunity for private interviews with Musai Roshi. FESTIVAL OF GIVING
The Second Annual Generosity Sunday takes place June 22, from 3 to 7 p.m. at De Vargas Park, across from the Guadalupe Church.
