oming the weekend of May 17 and 18, the Eldorado Studio Tour will take over the streets and lanes of the community. Touted as the largest studio tour in New Mexico, this year’s group of artists totals 105 showing in 69 studios. Hours are 10–5 each day.
Artwork spans the spectrum from traditional fine art to digital art, ceramics, traditional tinwork, textiles, wearable art, photography, sculpture, stain glass and jewelry. View the diversity of work on each artist’s page on Eldorado Art Association’s website, www.eldoradoarts.org.

The Preview Gallery, located at El Dorado Elementary School at the corner of Avenida Vista Grande and Avenida Torreon, should be the visitor’s first stop. Each artist will have a piece of his/her work on exhibit. The gallery is open from 10 to 5 during the event. While there, pick up a comprehensive brochure and map to all the studios and begin the tour. Brochures are also available at Vista Grande Library, the Agora Shopping Center, the Village and sponsoring businesses in Santa Fe.
